I got a Twitter account two weeks ago. I was skeptical at first. It is great! I have communicated with several people. The most rewarding thus far was the #EDUCHAT. It is nice to discover what educators in different places are experiencing in education.
Twitter has me reading more often. I read about Tech news, education, discounts, politics, travel and other things. Twitter helps me to catch up on news and events. The nice thing is that people post a lot of good information for others to read. FreeStuff has a lot of good postings for free stuff. They have posted free things for teachers. Yes, I have taken advantage of it.
The last time I checked, I had 44 followers. I am following over 200 people and organizations. Plus, I am following Dave Koz. He is my favorite musician. Saturday Night Live is another favorite. There is a wealth of information and entertainment on Twitter. It can be frustrating for me because I do not have enough time to read things on Twitter as often as I would like. The summer will not arrive soon enough for me! Yes, I will be reading on Twitter! My screen name is Powerpup09.
